When you talk about Dr. Michael A. Civin, Ph.D., these days, you will find that he is best known as one of the most prominent clinical psychologists in New York City. That said, one thing that is most impressive about Dr. Civin could be his current role as a major player in the city of New York’s psychological services industry for most of his career, which has covered the better part of three decades so far. Thankfully, he’s not even close to ready to retire.
In addition to Dr. Michael Civin, Ph.D. practicing psychology for many years, he also has been a professor or other faculty member at many universities, as well as other institutes of higher learning. His research and writing has been published in many journals and he has written chapters in a number of books. Education is a major part of Michael A. Civin, Ph.D.’s life, including time at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for two years and not one, but two, Master of Arts degrees; one from the University of Oregon in 1970 and the other from Adelphi University’s Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at in 1986.
